Revolve Festival is returning in April, WWD has learned exclusively.
The e-tailer is bringing its music festival to Coachella Valley in Southern California for the seventh year. For the first time the invite-only event will be a much more intimate experience for partygoers, hosted at a hotel in Palm Springs for one day, Saturday, April 13.
In the past the event has been both Saturday and Sunday, held at sprawling venues with indoor and outdoor spaces, a massive stage, activations and amusement park-sized rides. For its 20th anniversary last year, though smaller than before, Revolve took over a considerable space, with a carousel, a swing ride, and performers that included Ice Spice, City Girls and 21 Savage.
“Revolve Festival is our most sought-after event every year, and we always aim to provide an incredible experience and introduce our community to the best brands, ambassadors, partners and performers,” said Michael Mente, Revolve’s cofounder and co-chief executive officer. “This year, we’re excited to have Revolve Festival at an iconic venue that will provide an intimate experience while continuing to deliver an unparalleled connection to our community by throwing the best party in the desert.”
As with past years, guests can expect big-name music artists, according to Revolve, which has yet to reveal the lineup. The Revolve Festival stage has seen performances by A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, Cardi B, Snoop Dogg, YG, SZA, Travis Scott, Migos, Offset and Saweetie, to name a few.
In the beauty and fashion space, Hailey Bieber’s Rhode is activating with a photobooth; Supergoop! will provide sunscreen; Quay Australia will offer sunglasses at a pop-up, and P.F. Flyers will host a “shoot a hoop” competition to win shoes.
Partners will also include Christina Milian and Elizabeth Morris’ Beignet Box, as well as chicken chain Raising Cane’s. There will also be a curated food selection by the team behind Family Style Fest, the community-centered food festival (bringing the likes of plant-based Mr. Charlie’s, Yeastie Boys Bagels and Wanderlust Creamery). Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila will return to pour cocktails, along with Kylie Jenner’s newly launched canned drinks company, Sprinter Vodka Soda. Red Bull’s Summer Edition Curuba Elderflower and La Croix Sparkling Water will give nonalcoholic options, and Voss Water will help hydrate.
It’s sure to be an experience filled with VIPs; previous Revolve Festival guests have included the Kardashians, the Jenners, Timothée Chalamet, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kaia Gerber, Joe and Nick Jonas, Sophie Turner, Brooklyn Beckham, Travis Kelce, Emily Ratajkowski, Sydney Sweeney and Nicole Richie.
The day before the festival, at the same location, Revolve will also be hosting its annual “friends and family” pool party.
