Rosemary Feitelberg

Senior Editor

Rosemary Feitelberg is an enterprising veteran fashion and style reporter based in Women’s Wear Daily’s New York office. As a senior editor at WWD and frequent WWD Weekend contributor, she has more than 30 years of journalistic experience. Her versatile and objective coverage includes in-depth features, illuminating profiles of celebrated designers and. artists, developing trends across arts, culture and travel, obituaries, and breaking news stories on crime, politics, and social justice matters. She is also well known for her gimlet-eyed coverage of First Ladies and their style. Her comprehensive articles offer a big picture look at how the fashion industry and its many enterprising players have a broader and often imperceptible impact on the world at large. She is a graduate of Boston College, where she studied journalism, and took courses at University of London, Columbia University, and Brown University. Prior to joining WWD, she worked as a freelance travel writer and as a reporter at two Massachusetts newspapers and in Businessweek’s Los Angeles bureau. She also wrote the introduction to “Wife Dressing: The Fine Art of Being a Well-Dressed Wife,” the 2007 edition of designer Anne Fogarty’s 1959 guide, updated for modern times. She is an avid athlete, museum goer and ballet fan, who heads outdoors as much as possible.
